FINE ART

Thomas Editions has been making fine art giclée prints for a select and small group of photographers since 2006, We start creating your fine art edition from your digital file. We consult with you on paper selection in order to convey your vision through our selection of high-quality fine art and photographic papers. We then PREP your image, and make any exposure or COLOR adjustments if needed.
We MATCH using a test print, to ensure continuity, then we PRINT, and achieve the desired RESULTS.
SCANNING
We can create digital files from original artwork, slides, negatives, transparencies. We use a high-end film scanner that can accommodate sizes up to 4″ x 5″. Our high-quality scanning is done in-house and by an experienced technician.
RETOUCHING
Whether working with our retoucher, we can transform your digital image to your specifications. Anything from cropping to removing imagery and color adjustments can be done before your image becomes a fine art digital print.
DIGITAL FILE HANDLING
Additional services include file retrieval and conversion, file preparation, emailing/uploading of files, transfer of digital files to media or hard drives, phone and online consultation.
PROOFING
A proof is made for your approval before your image is printed. Our standard proofing size is a proportionate full image at 8″ x 10″ size. Please call us to discuss proofing at full size or other special needs.
SHIPPING
Your prints will be shipped in a heavy-duty shipping tube. Domestic & International shipping is available and custom quoted. We recommend FedEx or UPS.
We will ship according to client specifications. Insurance carriage and flat shipping will incur extra charges.
CONSULTATION
